This week’s discussion board will consist of the class researching your local newspaper online and locating an issue related to child sexual abuse (topic from Chapter 5).

Upon finding the article, you are asked to do the following:

1) Cite the source

2) Define which type of sexual abuse is illustrated according to Barnett et al. (see pg. 197-198 for descriptions)

3) Cite any characteristics of the perpetrator identified in the article (see pg. 214-218 for descriptions)

4) Cite interventions taken by the community in response to the crime (i.e. legal action, therapeutic services, etc.)

5) Offer your response to the article as a professional-in-training
